Library Rules and Regulation

Rules

• Please maintain Silence.
• Every student should have the Borrow Card; No Book will be Issued without Borrow Card.
• Only Two books at a time will be issued on Borrow Card.
• Books on Borrow Card will be issue of only 7 days.
• Delay in returning the books on Borrow Card will be Fined.
• Identity Card : Reference books , Magazines & Question paper will be issued on I Card for that particular day only. They are supposed to be returned on the same day ,before leaving the College Falling to do so will be fined Rs. 5/- per day.
• The Identity Card & Borrow Card should be presented at any time when by librarian.

Admission to the Library

Student are allowed to enter in library only on production of their authorized / valid Identity Card.

Book Lost

If the Books are lost the Borrow shall replace the books of the same edition or latest edition OR Pay double cost of the book after getting permission from the librarian.

Care the Library Borrow Card

• Take special care to maintain the library Borrow Card in good condition.
• Do not fold alter entries made on the card. Member are responsible for the entire set of Library Borrow Card issue to them.

Care of Library Books

Student are required to handle the Book/Journals very carefully ,marking with pencil, writing or highlighting, tearing the pages or mutilating the same in any other way will be viewed very seriously. In Such case reader shall be responsible unless these are brought to the notice of library staff at the time of issue.

Book Bank

• SC Students will get books from Social Welfare Book Bank. They should apply in the prescribed format to the Principal.
• Economically Backward Class (EBC) students can become members of the Book Bank, through which they will get books from MUHS Pustak Pedhi Yojana.
• Members of the above Book Bank will be issued 06 Textbooks / Reference Books for the academic year.
• Books shall be returned within 7 days after the University Practical Examination. Further delay will be fined at Rs. 05/- per day.

 

Reference Section

• This section has dictionaries, Text Books, Reference Books, etc., which are only available for reference.
• Users can make use of these resources.

Sunday 11.00 am to 05.00 pm (During Examination)
