International Yoga Day - Harit Yoga

On occasion of 11th International Day of Yoga 2025

Sawkar Homoeopathic Medical College Satara celebrated Harit Yoga Campaign in very innovative way. Details are as follows:-

Date : 15/06/2025

Venue : Sajjangad, Historical fort near Satara

Participants : 100 students and 10 Teaching, Non Teaching Staff.

• Yoga Trek - Climbing Sajjangad Fort (7.15 am to 8.15 am).
• Yoga Protocol - Yogasana & Suryanamaskar ( 8.30 am to 9.20 am).
• My Environment My Responsibility - (9.30 am to 10.15 am) Lecture on Environmental awareness and Responsibilities by Hon'ble Mr. Jayant Deshpande renowned social worker from Satara.
• Tree Plantation - (10.30 am to 11.30 am) 10 indigenous plants were planted on various places on Sajjangad Fort.
